Testimonials

The reviews published below are as we have received them from our clients, un-cut and un-edited.
We hope that they will offer you an insight into the various classes and thus help you choose which if any of our services will suit you best (and maybe even get to know some of your potential team members).

"Sybille takes all the hard work out of keeping fit and healthy. All you have to do is get to a class. You might suffer a bit (Ok, sometimes quite a bit) but it's more than worth it. You'll feel more energized and motivated afterwards, physically fitter, emotionally stronger and your clothes will fit better too.

All the classes are challenging and well planned to meet the requirements of the individual or group and being outdoors is invigorating.
There's plenty of flexibility in arranging a time that fits in with all your other commitments. Take your friends along and have some fun or meet some new people.
Just get the diary out and schedule in some classes."

"I had been going to gyms for a number of years but just got tired of the same routine. A friend suggested Freeform and it's been great especially the focus on a total body workout. I am now in probably the best overall shape in my life."

I started Sybille's bootcamps a week before my 30th birthday. I had been seeing a personal trainer for about a year who had gone on maternity leave so was looking for a new challenge.
I turned up at 6.15am and thought I would find it manageable as had been exercising regularly. How wrong was I??
She had me using parts of my body that had never been used before.

Her classes are varied, tough, hard work, enjoyable and painful all at the same time. Even now 15 months on we do different and varied programmes.
Don't be put off by the words 'tough' and' painful' as Sybille allows everyone in the group to work at the level suited to them from beginner to advanced.
Don't underestimate this woman who looks all small and cute. 60 of her lunges and 60 of her squats, followed by planks and push ups and ending with running drills will leave you unable to walk for at least 2 days!! No pain is no gain though!

I exercise not to lose weight but to keep fit and have a healthy mind. When the alarm goes off at 6am I can't bear the thought of an hour's workout, by the end of the class my mind and body feel amazing.

Sybille is undoubtedly the best trainer I have ever worked with and for whatever reason you wish to exercise there is no-one better to do it with.

“I joined Sybille’s bootcamp classes on Highbury Fields about 18 months ago. I hadn’t done an exercise class in a committed way since I was at school (and consequently Sybille had her work cut out for her). Sybille immediately put me at ease and talked to me about an injury I had sustained and my concerns about training. She really motivated me. The first class was tough and the pain afterwards was not something I had experienced before – I was incredibly stiff. However, it made me realise how much I needed to go. Over the months, I went 2-3 times a week and started to see results – not just in my figure but also my posture and my fitness. I was able to do the exercises more and more easily (and Sybille would adjust the exercises to suit the progress I was making – this means nothing is ever “easy”!)

The classes themselves are fun. Sybille is great at motivating everyone and she’s a fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Sybille talks everyone through the exercises, telling everyone which muscles they should be using and gently correcting people when they’re doing it wrong. This ensures you’re getting everything out of your work out possible. Despite the title “bootcamp”, it’s not scary and Sybille never shouts at you to move your behind! It’s all pretty civilised. The other members of bootcamp are really great too – I’ve made friends at the class and it makes the whole situation a lot more enjoyable. So it’s also extended my social circle.

I am not someone who is an exercise fanatic and since joining bootcamp I’ve found myself doing things I never thought I would – press ups in the snow, running in the rain – and enjoying it!

I’d recommend bootcamp to anyone (and often do!). It’s fun, good for you and really rewarding. If I can do it, anyone can!”
