Boot Camps: Because Fitness Doesn't have to be boring to be effective

Nor does it have to be intimidating.

This is not a military style boot camp.

And yet, you will find yourself pushing past your limits, do things you  didn't think you could. And you will reap the benefits. Not just in how you will look but more important, in how you will feel.

We use a challenging mix of HIIT (high intensity interval training) sets fused with lower intensity functional and core exercises to provide a well rounded workout which delivers amazing results in a very short time. Think about it: 30 minutes of your best effort before work in the morning (or after) a few times a week and the following are just some of the benefits you can expect:

  • Greatly increased Energy
  • Slow down the aging process!
  • Improved Mood and Sense of General Well-being
  • Improved Body Composition
  • Better Posture and Alignment
  • Increased Stamina
  • More Confidence
  • Better Quality Sleep
  • Stronger Immune System
  • Better Concentration and Memory
  • Slower Aging, both Physical and Mental
  • Less Susceptible to the Effects of Stress
  • Oh and Yes: It can Improve your Sex Life!

Let's just be clear: at Freeform we don't believe in fads and we don't follow them. We use HIIT in our Boot Camps and Blitz classes not because it is popular but because there is a plethora of scientific evidence that it works. As the science evolves, so do we, but we won't jump on just any bandwagon just to keep up with trends.

Worried that you might not be fit enough for HIIT? First of all, if you are new to class, we give you a few weeks to build up. Remember, in fitness we are all built not born. Everyone started at the beginning. Second: as long as you give it your best for whatever stage you are in, you will make progress.

In our Blitz Classes, we mostly follow the Tabata Protocol which is 20 second bursts of full effort followed by 10 second recovery periods.
The Boot Camp programs change frequently to keep things fresh and make sure you keep progressing. They consist of a mix of different HIIT protocols and functional exercises.
